could you not?

Have you ever been out in public and heard someone talking way too loudly on the phone? Of course you have. Does it bother you? Well, it only bothers me when people are shouting, talking extra-loudly, or being obnoxious in general.
I find it quite irritating when someone hops on the bus and talks on the phone very loudly— like, I don’t really want to hear your business. If the conversation is quiet, it’s not bad. I really don't mind people speaking on the phone in public. It's just when they talk really, really loud!
On buses and trams I regularly get people talking on the phone sooo loudly, I can't even hear myself think. I don't know whether it's a hearing issue or a connection issue.
The other day, I was coming back home, when a girl started to talk on the phone super loud that every single person in the bus could hear what she was saying. Guys, I had headphones as I was listening to some music, but they were not enough. It was a torture. I've improved my ability to concentrate, but I couldn't win over this noise. She was having a loud, animated conversation on her phone. It was impossible not to tune her out. I learned that her sister-in-law had gippy tummy, her best friend's husband was cheating on his wife, and that the guy (she was seeing) wanted to be more than friends with benefits.
Seriously?
